      Problem Definition

      As of the release of JIRA 7, support for Internet Explorer 9 has been End-of-Lifed and is no longer supported.

      Customers who use IE9 are unable to navigate to any part of their JIRA Instance and are redirected back to the JIRA Dashboard

      Customers in moderated environments do not have the ability to install an alternative browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) nor the ability to upgrade to a supported version of Internet Explorer (10 or 11)

      Suggested Solution

      Continued support for IE9 until it is End-of-Lifed by Microsoft

      Workaround

      Install one of the supported web browser

      Microsoft Internet Explorer (Windows) Versions 10, 11
      Mozilla Firefox (all platforms) Latest stable version supported
      Google Chrome (Windows and Mac) Latest stable version supported
      Safari (Mac) Latest stable version supported
