      Just like Confluence 5.7; https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+5.7+Upgrade+Notes#Confluence5.7UpgradeNotes-Changestohowgroupmembershipisdeterminedfrommultipleuserdirectories but for JIRA it would make more sense since you can configure JIRA as your user server. Also migrating to Active Directory would become a lot easier.
