      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.

      Creating a new issue type in JIRA with a name longer than the limit proceeds to cut off the text without warning the user.

      JIRA should prevent a users adding this, and feed back to the user via a error message.
