We wish to embed Issue Collectors in our application (a test case management system). This was relatively straightforward and everything works as expected.
There is however a shortcoming that makes the solution unworkable for us. We need to get the ticket number of the newly created issue to automatically populate a field in our application.
If I'm not mistaken there is currently no way to do this? "Screen scraping" won't work because obviously we cannot access elements within the Issue Collector iframe.
Would it be possible to implement some method of allowing this data to be obtained?
