We have an issue with multiple subtasks that we clone when a particular set of isues need to be created for multiple people. The subtasks have assignees before we clone as the same people are always responsible for the subtasks.

When we perform the clone of the main issue, no notifications are sent to the assignees. The assignees are not getting an email notifying them that they now have a sub-task to perform. If we change the assignees after performing the clone, the notifications are getting sent so we know we have the notifications set up correctly.
