    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. log in JIRA
      2. browse a project -> Administration panel
        • or JIRA Administration -> Projects -> any project
      3. go to Development tools
      4. click Refresh (to refresh connected applications)

      Expected behavior:

      The application list is refreshed properly

      Actual behavior:

      The Refresh button runs very shortly or almost does not run
      -> Nothing happens
      -> The list is not refreshed

      Workaround:

      In order for the Refresh button to run properly, users needs Administration Access. In other words, users need to go to a different Administration Section first e.g. Issues, Add-ons, System in order to be prompted for Administration Access login. Only then can they go back to Development tools and Refresh the applications.

      Suggestion:

      Implement the Administration Access prompt when users Refresh Development tools
