search function not searching text in noformat tags

      Search option in Jira does not seem to be returning search result correctly when we know for a fact that string is in a ticket.
      Does search options find text in tags?
      Example: I am searching for "mtmrh", this returns no result but when I look into INF-1279 i can see this text there.
