There is no method to reset a Permission Scheme to factory Defaults.

Occasionally, the Default Permission Scheme is modified in JIRA and this is unintentional.

Otherwise, the permission scheme is modified, but this scheme becomes inappropriate for the use-case of JIRA and the Administrator would like to start from a clean slate.

Suggested Solution

Provide an option to reset the default permission scheme to default, or create a Default Permission Scheme from scratch instead of having to copy one.

Workaround

Manually reconfigure an Existing Permission Scheme.
