Jira currently has the ability to link issues together and mark the link as "blocks". If I view an issue I can see a list of issues that has a direct blocks/blocked by relationship with the one I'm viewing. What I can't see is issues that have an indirect link, you have to click from issue to issue memorising the state (which gets difficult when an issue is blocked by multiple other issues).
For example if ISSUE-1 blocks ISSUE-2 blocks ISSUE-3 then viewing ISSUE-1 says "blocks ISSUE-2", viewing ISSUE-2 says "is blocked by ISSUE-1 and blocks ISSUE-3" and viewing ISSUE-3 says "is blocked by ISSUE-2".
Instead it would be useful to be able to see a list of indirect issues blocking/blocked by the one being viewed. Ideally this could be presented as a diagram as that would be much quicker to use.
Perhaps other kinds of relationships could be displayed on this graph, but this will likely not be as useful for them.
Other specification/bug trackers such as Launchpad and bugzilla has both a text tree view and a graph view
