      Problem Definition

      When a blocking issue is resolved, all blocked issues should get notified of the change, so that people watching those issues can respond.

      Suggested Solution

      There is no way to perform this natively in JIRA.

      Workaround

      The third party add-on ScriptRunner for JIRA (paid) provides a post-function for that: Update blocking issues (source)
