      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      We work in a regulated industry, and as such can not allow for deletion of the Bug issue type. We would, however, like very much to be able to delete User Stories and Subtasks. Jira does not allow permissions to be scoped to just a single issue type. Allowing permissions to be applied to only a subset of all issue types makes a great deal of sense.
