At our company, we create a new issue for each major software development task. A developer owns the task and can create as many subtasks as he/she desires. I would like the ability to watch the parent issue and automatically be added as a watcher of all subsequently-created subtasks. The problem now is that I can watch the parent issue, but I have no way of knowing when subtasks are created without doing an occasional manual check. Therefore, I miss alot of comments / updates that are done within the subtasks.
