    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      If a user reports and issue, and it is determined it is a duplicate, add the option to set a watch for the report of the duplicate issue for the parent issue. This way duplicate issue reporters can be notified when the parent issue is resolved/closed.
