Activity Stream Filter by Username and Activity Stream in User's Profile not working

      Because of some obvious reason the activity stream in our user's profile always shows the message "No activity was found", using the gadget at the dashboard shows all activities. But if I use there a filter to show only my activities, for example, it also throws "no activity was found" - this occurs due to the username having a space between the names.
      Without the filter hooked up I am able to see my activities.
