Description
NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.
- As an admin, go to the priorities admin page, edit one of the default priorities, and change the description but not the name
- Create a new issue, do not submit yet
- In the field to choose the priority, click the help icon. It pops up a window with descriptions for each priority
- Note that the customised description is not displayed, the default text is
- Go back and change the name (you can just add a period or apostrophe to the end)
- Now the customised description is displayed
Workaround: create a "translation" for each out-of-the-box priority in the default language. This causes the help page to reflect the translation rather than the base description.
