      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      We have a few different projects, Support Issues, Development, etc. It would be a great feature to be able to set the default comment group security on a project basis. For example anything in the Support Project would default to our support team group and then anything in Development would be set to "developers" group.

      We're using the "announcement banner" hack to set the default comment group but that is a system wide setting, https://support.atlassian.com/browse/JSP-112152.
