When issues are split accross components, they get counted multiple times in the pie chart, for each component (understandably) but the summary is misleading, it totals the number of issues accross components, counting the same issue mulitple times for all components it refers to. The confusion is that when you drill in, the total issues are not what is reported in the chart.

It might be more appropriate for ByComponent views to describe:

• Total issues (current behaviour)
• Total unique issue count (reflecting unduplicated count)
