      http://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/4.3-m1/#id35825383 says "The maximum allowable value is dictated by the JIRA property 'jira.search.views.default.max'."
      I think that this info should be retrievable via REST.
      I think that there should be some documentation about how to retrieve the value of this property.
