This ticket is a follow up of JSP-43756.
Our business case is as follow :
- We are using Confluence as a requirement management tool to keep track of the User Stories
- When an enhancement is requested by a client, it is captured in JIRA
- When this enhancement is approved, we change the code and tie it back to the JIRA ticket using the Subversion Plugin
- We would like to change the user story to account for the enhancement, and tie this change to the Confluence page back to the JIRA ticket, in pretty much the same way we are doing in Subversion
We could enter the ticket number in the Confluence change comment, and have a plugin pick that up and link it to the JIRA ticket.
That way, we would have a link from the ticket to the change in the code and the change in the requirement. We would have a link from both the code and the requirement using the change comment.
Currently I have only see the possiblity of linking the complete Confluence page to the ticket as opposed to a particular changeset of this page.
