    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

I'm a user, not a developer of the Second Life Public JIRA. I created an issue there asking for a larger Environment Field when filing new issues, because the default two lines is far too little. As an indication, the typical Environment people are asked to enter looks something like this:

      Second Life 1.20.0 (84432) Apr 8 2008 21:02:50 (Second Life Release Candidate)

      You are at 258036.4, 255465.9, 40.3 in Montara located at sim1172.agni.lindenlab.com (8.4.130.68:12035)
      Second Life Server 1.18.6.75511

CPU: Dual i386 (Unknown) (2000 MHz)
      Memory: 2048 MB
      OS Version: Darwin 8.11.1 Darwin Kernel Version 8.11.1: Wed Oct 10 18:23:28 PDT 2007; root:xnu-792.25.20~1/RELEASE_I386 i386
Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon X1600 OpenGL Engine
      OpenGL Version: 2.0 ATI-1.4.58
LLMozLib Version: [LLMediaImplLLMozLib] - 2.01.14353 (Mozilla GRE version 1.8.1.13_0000000000)
      Packets Lost: 32/40071 (0.1%)

It's a pain pasting that in such a small field, especially when you have to change some values or check it's pasted correctly (and not an 'old' copy still present in the clipboard).

However, my issue there was closed as it was not something Linden Lab could change, the size apparently is hardcoded in the JIRA software. It struck such a simple thing is not present. Therefor here my humble request, please make it customizable. Maybe now Linden Lab is the only one that could actually use a larger Environment field, but I'm sure more will follow. Then in the end, everyone will benefit.
      Thank you.
