      Hello,

      This suggestion is implemented in Jira cloud. The "Component lead"option is added to the default assignee list.

      Please add option "Component Lead" as Default Assignee of project.
      On Projects with few components it's not so critical, but if you create project with 100 components - changing of default assignee on each of them is stupid and long work...
