We are moving to Jira Cloud from Jira Server and really really rely on the Issue Picker functionality today in our workflows. Please consider this enhancement.

I just can't believe it... no issue picker in Jira as a base function? I mean... it is as basic as User picker...

We need that in Jira Server/Data center.

I understand the Linked issues does, at least partially, cover the use-cases for such a field type. But you can't use conditions or validators on it, and marking in as "required" doesn't do a damn thing. Yes, there are Market place plugins... but really...

This would be a great feature for the cloud version. I have found several add-ons for the server version, but none for the cloud version. The issue linking is not as intuitive as a simple issue picker. It would also be nice if the issue picker could be limited by a query. This way, an attribute of an issue could be another issue of a specific type. This would allow for multiple configurations.

WHY would you guys give us  solutions for SERVER on a JIRA CLOUD issue??? What's the point?? Now is there a valid solution for cloud (that doesn't cost 25/month for just ONE field)???

I have a JIRA project with a list of 4000 customers in it. I have another JIRA project with helpdesk tickets in it. I want to link a helpdesk ticket issue to the customer information issue in the customer project. I'd like a field that says Customer information and has this JIRA link to the actual customer information. It is not intuitive or easy for many to understand they need to use linked issues. There is a need for this type of field. Please reconsider. The coding of this is probably peanuts too. Thanks.
