It has been almost 2 years since the last comment. I am now trying to do the same thing, that is, take a Remedy ticket and automatically create it into a JIRA. Is there any way to do this now?
Thanks! Eric,
I have not heard of anything to this date. Though it is pretty easy to create issues in JIRA via SOAP if it is possible to create something on the Remedy end... Cheers, Our XML Gateway product (http://www.javasystemsolutions.com/products/xmlgateway
John I'm writting to the 3 watcher but specially John Baker. I'm interested in this kind of solution. I have the exact problem like describe. Our help desk use Remedy but on the developper side, we use Jira.
If someone already did an integration between those two product, I'm interested. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for the integration. I'm still interested.
Tks. Mat. I am very interested in the integration between Remedy and JIRA, too. Its been like 3 years since the original post and still nothing. Don't you guys think its about time we develop this ourselves. I am a developer and I am more than willing to try to develop a plugin. How do you guys feel about doing something like this?
Hi,
At the moment we are not planning to develop the integration. With every release of JIRA we try to enhance the product in a way that benefits the most customers. As we have quite a large number of enhancement requests that are a lot more popular than this one, I do not think we will get the chance to look at this any time soon. For more information on the way new feature and improvement requests are scheduled, please see: If you decide to look at developing the integration, you may be interested in involving one of Atlassian partners who specialise in customising and integrating with JIRA. If you are interested in working with a partner, please send an e-mail to: Cheers, |

To our knowledge, no work has been done in this area. In the forthcoming
JIRA 3.1 release, it will be possible to create issues via SOAP. If
there is some hook in Remedy where you could run a script, you could
create a JIRA issue this way.
