Description
The Fisheye admin console does not let you create a username with spaces.
However, we have security configured to use LDAP Authentication. In our company, the users NT login is "Firstname Lastname". If I select "Create a FishEye user on successful LDAP login", this works fine, creates the username as "Firstname Lastname"
There is a problem, however. In my case, I would like to have the option "Users must be added to FishEye manually", because I dont want all users to have an account to Fisheye. So I go to the "Add user" screen, and type in my desired username "Firstname Lastname", and select "ldap" for the Auth-type, but it wont let me create that user because of spaces.
So in essence, have LDAP enabled and use this option "Users must be added to FishEye manually" if my usernames have a space in them. Our LDAP directory has over 7,000 employees, so this would be an important fix for us.
