Actual Results
As soon as users select the time period from the “Time” drop-down list filter, the content gets dynamically updated below and not been announced by the screen reader.
Although the dynamic change is easier to understand for sighted users, it may not be intuitive for screen reader users.
Expected Results
When the time period is selected, the instruction should be given to the screen reader users about the results that are appeared or dynamically changed by applying the filters.
Provide a hidden instruction "Applying the "time period" button will update the content above." before the button in the source code using CSS to orient screen reader users about dynamically updating content.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
