    Description

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Create a Delegated Authentication Directory in Crowd
      2. Check the Synchronize Group Memberships checkbox in the Connector tab
      3. In the Configuration Tab, make sure that the Group Description Attribute is set to a valid attribute (that contains values) based on the LDIF Export of any LDAP groups in your LDAP directory.
      4. Set the Delegated Authentication Directory that you just created as the highest priority directory for your Crowd application, via Applications >> crowd >> Directories, with Allow all to authenticate.
      5. Login using any LDAP user to the Crowd Console. Then log out, and login again as the Crowd Admin. Make sure that groups that he/she is member of is pulled to Crowd (Crowd Console >> Groups). Notice that the Group description attribute is empty.

You can verify that this is working properly with a regular Connector directory by creating a Connector directory with the exact same settings as the Delegated Authentication directory that you created. Synchronize the Connector directory, and notice that the group description is not empty, as opposed to the Delegated Authentication directory.
