OS X 10.5.6 Build 9G21 has changed the username required when authenticating. You now logon with full DN rather than username. This is consistent with other OpenLDAP-based directories, but requires a change to the Crowd Open Directory connector.

Solution is to provide (another ) checkbox that allows the user to specify if username or full DN should be used when logging onto Open Directory.

We're going to track OS X Server changes and make available closer to the release date. We're leery of making changes for pre-release software that could subsequently change again.
