    Description

While setting up and demoing out JIRA + Crucible + IntelliJ Connector I encounter the following problem related to raising JIRA issue (subtask) directly from Crucible UI (comment):

      • logged-in user in Crucible must have "administrate project" permission in JIRA - otherwise issue creation fails with the message about "probably missing permissions". Coming to this conclusion required some experimenting from me. It does not make sense IMO...
      • even if my logged-in user in Crucible (say user A) has aforementioned permissions, then created JIRA issue from Crucible UI uses as Reporter field incorrectly the account provided in JIRA Servers configuration in Crucible (even though use trusted apps is checked). Interestingly resolving issues takes correctly! currently logged-in Crucible user (you can see it in the issue history).
      • Polish (and probably also other non-English) characters are incorrectly passed to JIRA. That is they are displayed correctly in Crucible, but JIRA issue contains rubbish characters instead of Polish ones. Encoding problems?
