Problem statement: when using remote API if Crucible server is restarted client doesn't know that its session was invalidated. Server happily returns data for anonymous user. No method will tell you that client uses invalid session.

If affects Atlassian Eclipse Connector - after Crucible server is restarted or network settings are changed AEC user will see different list of reviews because its not logged in anymore. We have a workaround for this - every call we authenticate user but it'd be great if Crucible could tell us: "sorry mate, your session is invalid, please authenticate again".
