    Description

      Problem Statement

Previously, the filestore API utilized the Amazon S3 Sync client for communicating with the S3 cloud storage. This client only handled files that were less than 5GB in size. However, during the development of the DragonFly project, the Lotus team introduced a new Amazon S3 async client that offers many advantages, including the ability to handle files with a maximum size of 5TB (which is currently restricted by S3).

The usage of this new client has been implemented successfully in Jira 9.15 by the Lotus team.

      Expected Results

Consider updating the FileStore version in Confluence to the latest one.

      Upgrade notes
      1) change max-connection settings in confluence to max-concurrency; link for reference. How it's done in Jira.
      2) Update corresponding Conf documentation.
      3) Update comment, instructions are here

Feel free to reach out to the Lotus team for any questions.
