    Description

      Issue Summary

”Popups headers of macro, links or attachments popups in text editors multiply when scrolling”

When on a confluence page which allows for scrolling – for example when the page contains a lot of text, spanning multiple screens – the editor popups for the autocomplete of macros (shortcuts { or / ), attachments (shortcut ! ) or links (shortcut [ ) visually break when the page is scrolled with the popups visible. (The header of the popup gets rendered multiple times, stacked vertically. The popups mentioned are exactly the ones having a header line.)
This happens in multiple text editors where the popups can be triggered:

      • editing the main page content
      • adding a comment
      • adding an inline comment (ie the editor in the margin on the right)”

PS: Tested with Confluence 7.19 and the issue is not seen there.

This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page with large amount of content (require scrolling)
      2. Save the page
      3. In the comment section of the page, type { to trigger macro browser pop up
      4. scroll the page and we see the macro browser break
Below screen recording show the behavior
        Screen Recording 2024-03-29 at 15.59.31.mov

      Expected Results

The macro browser will not break

      Actual Results

The macro browser header is duplicated and break

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
