MySQL disconnects if configured for direct connection

    Description

      Symptom:

      "Unexpected end of input stream" exception when connecting to MySQL database after application h as been running a while.

      Workaround:

      Use an application-server provided datasource, instead of using Confluence's native datasources. For instructions on switching over, email confluence-support@atlassian.com, or see: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+a+MySQL+Datasource+in+Tomcat
