Text in double curly brackets are NOT always treated as no-format text

Writting Wiki markup as follows:

stdcall

and it is rendered as italic

stdcall

Obviously, the underscores surrounding "stdcall" is not treated as normal text, but a font style indicator, which is not the documented behavior.

When posting C language code on Confluence, underscore-surrounded symbols are quite prevalent, and they should be displayed normally inside double curly brackets.
