    Description

      Problem

When upgrading Confluence with installer it still throw lots of confirmation to customer even saying no to Backup.
      Using our customer words:

... when the installer asks about the content that is or is not being affected, it requires an 'Enter' as a response (Even when we say no to backup the content since we perform our backups separately). We have a great amount of content and I had to press carefully one and each of these enters hundreds of times, which is a bit dangerous since a mistype could go wrong plus is extremely tedious. When I say hundreds I mean around 500 or more literally.

      Suggested Solution

add a parameter to installer where customer can decide if they want to ignore the backup, or a question to ignore the rest of the process during installation

      Why This Is Important

If customer have a huge amount of data as in this case they can mistype Enter
