Description
Confluence gets confused when latin characters (non-ascii in general?) are used in the page title.
Specifically:
- creating a new page with a latin character in the title, e.g. "Stéphane", only works partially. After "Add" has been clicked an error page is displayed with the message "The following error(s) occurred: The page specified does not exist." The URL in the browser location field reads "/St%25E9phane" in the last segment. But as can be seen in the space summary the page was indeed created (with the correct name).
- linking to a page with latin characters doesn't work. When a link, e.g. [Stéphane], is added to a page, it displays correctly but clicking on it yields the same result as when the page was first created (error description of previous bullet).
Further observations:
- After a page with a latin character in the title has been created it is displayed in the "Recently Updated Pages" of the space summary. Clicking on the page link there works, as the link is of the form "/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=54".
- Entering an URL like "/display/PAR/Stéphane" (where PAR is the space key) takes me to the created page.
