Description
STEP TO REPLICATE
- Configure Delegated LDAP Authentication directory in Confluence.
- Move the Delegated LDAP Authentication directory to the top.
- Add new user (to allow the LDAP user login) via Confluence User Management > Add User.
- Check the Send an email to the user you have just created, which will allow them to set up their password.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
New user receive an email notification to introduce them to the application without any option to reset password.
ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR
New user receive an email which require them to reset password. When the user enters the new password and reset it, Confluence will throw an error:
NOTE
In JIRA, User have an option to not change password as it is not applicable.
