Cursor jumps to top of page after inserting row into table

is there any reason why when adding a new row into a table that the cursor moves itself to the 'HOME' or top left position in the WYSIWYG form input box, rather than moving the cursor to the first column of the new row?

(this happens on Firefox, IE behaves correctly)
