Selecting text colour in WYSIWYG causes previous text to change colour

Steps to reproduce:

Type some text into the editor (does not matter if there is no space, a space, newlines after the end of the text)
Click on the "Select text color" button
Select a colour

After this, the text that was just typed will be the colour that was selected (instead of all text AFTER that).
