    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

As more customers are adapting Letsencrypt for their SSL connections. Confluence does not support Letsencrypt structure.

      Suggested Solution

The way Letsencrypt is designed, there should be a way the user can enter configuration (dns record...)
As certificates only last 3 months a check is implemented
This check will also update the certificate if required (e.g. 7 days before it expires)
