      The basic use-case is to allow anonymous access to a single page within an otherwise restricted space. See: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/95242/how-to-grant-anonymous-access-only-to-a-single-page-in-confluence

      Currently you can only restrict pages, but you can't explicitly grant permissions.

      Note: This issue seems to differ from CONFSERVER-7089 only in phrasing, but since it has acquired substantial votes, it won't be closed as a duplicate.
