Drag to reorder templates/blueprints

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Currently, we have a system whereby you 'promote' a template to hide all other templates. I think this is a departure from what a user would normally expect. 'Unpromote' is also not a real word.

As a user, I simply want to be able to drag templates into the order I choose, without going to the trouble of promoting every one I want to use.

Can we implement drag to reorder in the template dialogue, to allow users to move their favourite templates/blueprints to the top of the dialogue (or put them in whatever order they want to)?

Templates can still be disabled if users really don't want to see them, and I think (not sure if there are any customer interviews about this) that most people probably want the convenience of seeing their most-used templates at the top where they're easy to choose.
