PDF files fail to render or are poorly formatted and unreadable

I've inserted a number of PDF files using the PDF file macro they have either failed to render completely or the formatting is corrupted and the document is unreadable.
When the file is downloaded it is OK.

This is causing a major problem as the files need to be readable.
