Ability to customize the Dashboard Activity Stream like the Activity Stream macro/gadget

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      As of now, the Activity Stream displayed on Confluence Dashboard is not customizable, and displays a limited amount of data. The Activity Stream Macro and the Jira Activity Stream gadget, on the other hand, have more features, especially:

      • ability to set the number of updates displayed;
      • the Show more... button;
      • custom filtering of the updates included.

      It would be handy to be able to have the same functionality in both the Dashboard and the macro.
