Cannot drag and drop text in the new editor

This bug report is a re-creation of an improvement request, which in our point of view is a bug instead. Thus I have copied the description from that report and linked that to this.

Dragging and dropping of text in the old editor (prior 4.0) used to work fine, but in 4.0, dragging and dropping using any browser is impossible.

Steps to Reproduce/Demonstration of issue:

1. Create a page with the following content (in Confluence 3.5 and 4.0):

   Hey
   
   Tomorrow
   
   1.
   
   2. Yesterday
   

2. Try to highlight Tomorrow, and then drag and drop it after 1..
3. Notice that in 3.5, the content becomes:

   Hey
   
   1. Tomorrow
   
   2. Yesterday
   

4. While in 4.0, the content remains.
