Can't login (or create new users)

All of the sudden I can't log in anymore. I'm always getting invalid userid or password. I was going to try to setup a new user and see if I could log in with a new account but then I got an exception. It looked like a hibernate exception saying the database was already in use by another process....

I just restarted Tomcat and now I can log in... hmm.. weird one.
