Velocity Templates failing on deprecated methods in dev mode

    Description

      When Confluence is run in dev mode (ie. atlas-run) velocity templates are throwing errors when the attempt to use any java method that is deprecated. This causes integration tests to fail.

      java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: (This exception is only thrown when dev.mode is enabled) Velocity template accessing deprecated method

      Deprecated methods may be deprecated, but they are not broken. A warning in the logs would be sufficient in this case.
