Automated tests for upgrade tasks with an in-place upgrade

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

      Some upgrade tasks are tested via imports, but ones that only run on in-place upgrade can't currently be automatically tested.

      Sometimes our manual testing misses incompatibilities on various databases that would have been picked up if the upgrade process was automatically tested.
