Content by Label Macro doesn't Display excerpts in the results

While displaying the results of Content by Label macro we are not able to get any excerpts at all. However, in the documentation the parameter is ambiguosly defined as 'excerpts' in the table but as 'excerpt' in the example. Nevertheless, both parameters turns out to work pretty similarly.
