Inconsistently positioned image when adding an Image via Drag and Drop in Rich Text Editor in IE

According to this documentation:

Simply drag the image from your computer and drop it into the Rich Text Editor window. The image will be displayed in the position where you dropped it.

In Internet Explorer (tested on IE version 7 and 8) the image is inconsistently positioned:

• Sometimes it is positioned in the last position of the cursor
• Sometimes it is positioned in the position where you drop it
• Most of the times it is positioned in the beginning of the page.

In Firefox, it works fine as expected.

For example, I tried to put an image after the second word of the second paragraph. Here is the result screen-shots:

• Correct result in Firefox
• Incorrect result in Internet Explorer
