      I read CONF-9343 and my guess is that the solution that was mentioned there was implemented as:

      LuceneSearcherImpl:search - Error encounterd in lucene search: maxClauseCount is set to 1024
      

      I'm looking through our logs and I see tens of thousands of log messages like this per day.

      I don't want to change the log level for the entire LuceneSearcherImpl class, I just want this particular warning not to be displayed.

      As far as I understand the problem, there isn't anything that can be done about this error, so why should we be bothered with useless warnings?

      Can you display the warning at a lower logging level?
